 We took a ride thru the park and saw some amazing sites, very few creatures though only a couple of chipmunks but we I’d see rock climbers a popular activity out here and the Joshua Tree isn’t really a tree at all. Next we go to Anza Borrego State Park about 50 miles east of San Diego.  On the way we make a stop at Salton Sea a salty body of water that is not only shrinking in size but so salty that most of the fish have died off and thus the bird population has diminished and gone elsewhere. When you wank on the beach it goes from very soft mud to barnacle skeletons about a foot or so deep. Here re some pictures…
