,2023 Joshua Tree National Park

 We have been here at Joshua Tree for the past days and 2 nights it has been very windy and rainy so as you can imagine in the high desert it has been raw and cold, at times the trailer has been rocking from the winds last night was 38 but today Friday is calm with bright blue sky and endless sun, our lithium batteries have done well with very little charge but we have been using propane for the furnace, hot water and the refrigerator. John has gone for a hike and I have been cleaning and relaxing my grumpy leg (sciatica or my back not sure) but I can only walk about 10-15 minutes before it starts burning so my activity level has been pretty low- not part of my plan but it is what it is. I am hoping John will weigh in on his prospective with many tidbits I cannot provide. Tomorrow we will ride around the park and take allot more pics but here are a few:
