Days 4,5,6 and 7 Fort Benning Graduation Nov 29-Dec 2
We are camping at state park on the Georgia/Alabama border on the Chattahoochee River it’s a great campground with a very large site, bath house( no hot water for 2 days) but it does have laundry. We have been spending time with our oldest grandson Ezra for his Turning Blue ceremony signifying the completion on infantry training and his graduation lots of happy tears abound and also with his Mom Liz who now lives in Arizona. Ezra will now be starting his RASP program Ranger Assessment Selection Program that will last about 3 months and will include among other skills airborne school. When all is said and done the goal is for him to be selected to be a qualified Ranger and this will give him a higher rank and more advanced skills-we have no doubt he will succeed as he is thriving at Fort Benning!we are all so so proud of him. PS the cell service is bad so I will add pictures tomorrow.
Today Friday Dec 2 we are picking Ezra up at the base for his daytime leave and going to make some more memories, tomorrow we will pack up and head west a bitter sweet time for us and the next several days we will
Be staying in Mississippi, Texas, New Mexico and arriving in Arizona for Dec18 for about 2 weeks…more to come
